Virtual Bank Negara Money Museum
Abstract
To expose the user with the museum in virtual world
Target audience

Goal
The goal for this application is let the user explore the museum in another medium such as 3D world and at the same time interact with the objects similar with the real world such as reading infos, zooming in and out dynamic explorations and etc. The museum sometimes crowded and some of the sections are under renovations which are inaccessible to users and thus limited the user experience in the museum. This application will allow user to fully explore the space of the museums and the exhibitions and at the same time interacting with the virtual environments inside the museum itself. The application also will educate the user how to clean and preserve the old money. The usage of pictographs will be available for infos and the user can zoom in and out for better views of the exhibitions.

- to immerse user with the use of virtual reality, high quality audio and photorealism
- to understand the information that is written on pop up boards
- To give information about the museum in other way
- To educate people how to preserve the old money
- To educate people how to clean old money
- To teach people how to use the old money according to era

Benchmark
Description
The application will start outside the museum or entrance of the museum. Through the entrance a direction maps will be appeared and the user can call back the maps if the user got lost. The museum consists 6 sections and there will be another virtual environment in each sections and that will be the first stage. Inside the virtual environments there will be information regarding the date of the monetary usage, how to use it and hot to make purchases according to the respective eras. The second level will be teaching the user about how to preserve and clean the old money (coins and paper moneys) and users are required to use VR Gloves in order to interact with the environments.
